From The Bikini Atoll Test To The 21st Century...
Nuclear Lead is a lead products design and manufacturing company with over 50 years of experience. We develop lead products for use in the nuclear energy, nuclear medicine, and nuclear measurement industries. Since 1962, Nuclear Lead has been manufacturing lead products for DOE laboratories, large corporations, nuclear reactor facilities such as:

- The Y-12, K-25 and X-10 Nuclear Reactors
We specialize in creating custom lead works such as lead radiation shielding, lead counter weights, lead ballasts, and virtually any other type of manufactured lead product. Our manufacturing facility is streamlined to quickly convert your idea into a finished product.

Our Staff
Pat Lynch — President and Manager
Pat started with Nuclear Lead in 1969 and took over as the president in 1983. Since that time, Pat has worked hard to insure that the company stays on the cutting-edge of the lead products industry. Pat's dedication has allowed Nuclear Lead to maintain its high levels of quality and customer satisfaction. Under Pat's direction, Nuclear Lead has continued its long-term relationships with the DOE's vast network of nuclear laboratories and facilities.
Bryan Lynch — Vice-president and Assistant Manager
Bryan has been on the Nuclear Lead team since 1990. After graduating from the University of Tennessee in 1997, Bryan joined the staff full-time. Bryan is committed to maintaining the world's foremost lead products production facility. In pursuit of this goal, Bryan has built a wealth of knowledge of the needs and requirements of lead products consumers. He has used this knowledge to hire an expert staff and provide them with the equipment they need to do their jobs quickly and efficiently.
Ted Lynch — Founder
Ted began his career in the lead industry in 1936 working in construction lead burning. In 1946 he supervised the building of lead camera boxes at the Bikini Atoll Bomb Test. Following Bikini Atoll, Ted continued his work in the lead burning and casting industry. In 1961 Ted founded Nuclear Lead. He built and grew the company's reputation for quality and excellence until his retirement in 1983. Since that time he has remained active with the company on a consulting basis until his passing in 2005.
